The "Only Project"

Only Watch was created in 2005 by Luc Pettavino with one intent: raise funds for research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (a genetic disease that concerns 1 in 3,500 boys and weakens progressively all their muscles and that affected Luc and Monique’s son, Paul) by auctioning one-off timepieces. Since then, thanks to the increasing formidable mobilization of the watch industry and the support of an entire ecosystem, this initiative has become a very awaited biennial rendezvous in the horology calendar for both brands and collectors. Community

Only Watch is a community project that is powered by the unwavering support and generosity of numerous stakeholders, starting with HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco since day one, the participating watch brands, event and logistics partners, media… Thanks to the committed support of all working graciously, Only Watch has allowed our Monaco-based charity organization to raise near CHF/EUR 100 million (as of November 2021) for research on Duchenne and genetic diseases. The running costs of our charity represent around 2% of the auction result.
